Life is Fragile

Posted Mar 24, 2022,

Life is fragile. We lost our son on August 24, 2019. He left home to go play rugby in Springfield MO. We still made arrangements to go the following week to Texas. Chris never returned from rugby. He felt a pain in his stomach, dropped down and his heart stopped during a 10-minute break. Life is fragile. Christ left behind his precious wife Venessa and two sons, Caleb and Ethan.

You never know if you will see each other after saying goodbye. Make sure you always leave on good footing. Avoid leaving home in anger or with a huge argument. You never know if you will return. Life is fragile. Love one another. Encourage one another. Forgive one another. Tell the people closed to you how much you value and love them.

Chris, Mom and I miss you very much. We love your forever Son! How we miss you. We miss your pranks, phone calls, sense of humor and most of all the warmth and kindness you always showed to us and everyone else you came in contact with. One day we will all see each other again in heaven.
